David is a true “Son of a son of a sailor”. His Grandfather started pleasure boating on the BC coast in the 1920’s. His dad joined in around the mid-1930’s and David started sailing with his parents in the late-1960’s.

Growing up cruising our wonderful coastline with family instilled his passion for the ocean. David bought his first power boat when he was 18, yet he continued to sail and race competitively through the RVYC for many years.

Power boats have become his preferred mode of travel for weekend getaways due to their ability to travel greater distances within the limited amount of free time that we all have available to us these days.

David has turned his passion for boating into a successful career for himself. From marine glass, to service, refit, repair and brokerage, David has been active internationally in the marine business for over ten years.

Joining the Freedom Marine Team allows David the opportunity to share his own boating experience and lifestyle for the sea with both new and experienced boating clients.
