Sherry Burrows, Office Administrator

Hi, my name is Sherry Burrows and I am the office administrator at Freedom Marine. I have lived around water and boating all my life. I grew up in a small fishing village, Port Stanly, Ont. on the shores of Lake Erie.

In 1973, I moved to Kelowna BC where I was a part-owner of Sun Country Sports and Marine, located on Okanagan Lake. We sold large and small power boats, canoes and sporting goods. I enjoyed the summers boating on the lake, water skiing and canoeing, with friends and family.

In 1999 in Vancouver, I had the great pleasure of learning how to sail and found out, in racing, how competitive I really am! The next year I operated a small charter company, chartering both sail and power boats.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Freedom Marine team and to be back on Granville Island overlooking our wonderful yachts.
